A surreal play by G W Fraser about German chemist Fritz Haber who, in one year, was tried as a war criminal for his invention of poison gas and nominated for a Nobel Prize for creating nitrogen fertilizers. The drama attempts to get inside Haber's head and in the process tries to make sense of the darkness and light that lies at the heart of all science.
