A number of Ant's tracks on this library album had been recorded in September 1987 under the working title of 'Deeper Mysteries'.  Ant recalls that he had the opportunity to use some early samples on some of the pieces for this production, which would also be the final material he would record on the Brenell 8-track recorder that he had been using since October 1979.  Having recorded the tracks in his own studio, Ant took the master tapes together with the 8-track tape machine and the external power supply for it into Atmosphere's studio in central London to mix the tracks.  Work on the mixing was brought to a sudden halt as a malfunction with the power supply saw it create a voltage spike which in turn took out the entire fuse box for the studio, necessitating a visit from some electricians to get everything working again safely before the session could resume.  As Ant observes, "The Brenell was a mean boy by then!" 

Drama as released on Finger Painting as Dungeons was a notably different mix without the reverb used on the original track.

Abstract Atmospheric was released as Polar Lights on Archive Collection Volume Two in 2004

Aurora and Drama were used in the German TV series Terra-X and were subsequently given a commercial release on the soundtrack album for the series. 

Both tracks were subsequently included on Pathways & Promenades with Drama being given the new title of Ironclad and Aurora having a shorter running time of 3:02

An interesting use of Caves from this CD was at the start of the 1992 video release Madstock! (Live at Finsbury Park) (aka 'Madstock The Movie') by Madness.
