John played bass on Ant's albums Wise After The Event and Sides. Apart from his extensive session work with a number of artists, he was also a member of Caravan and Quantum Jump. John also recorded 2 solo albums during the 1970s which have at various times been made available on CD by Voiceprint. Both of the albums were produced by Rupert Hine and they also feature Michael Giles on drums.
